A Year Ago Today, I Clicked “Publish”

HEY GUYS!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!

So as you may or may not know, on the 20th of March last year, I clicked the publish button on my very first, very CRINGY blog post which I’ll link right here if you guys would like to take the piss (please don’t).

Honestly, so much has changed between now and then and I’ve been blessed with so many opportunities in real life AND online all thanks to this blog of mine! I really don’t know where I would be right now if I didn’t have this little corner on the internet that I can talk to you guys and tell you all how I feel. It’s so nice to have an outlet that you know you can turn to whenever you’re pissed, angry, confused, happy or just plain crazy. And it’s so great to find people who relate to you and help you along the way.

I’d love to give a little shout out too –

Bayance @Bayance – sorry for the mental breakdowns but hey – what did you expect?😅 Literally the first blogger friend I made! I’ll never forget how we first started talking back and forth in the comments😂

Indy @IndysSoliloques – Aka – my Australian twin split at birth – the timezones stress me the hell out but I’d stay up late for you dude😂 – we ALSO started talking back and forth in the comments – is that how I make friends or something?

– because I’ve literally bombarded these two with ALL my issues and they still put up with me so thank you guys – I’m sure it can’t have been easy. I mean, I can barely put up with myself half of the time🙃

Anyway, I’d like to give you guys a rundown of all of the things that have changed since I made this blog –

1. I turned 15 (16 in July guys – wait on it)
2. I turned Vegetarian
3. I restarted my fitness journey
4. I finished writing my book
5. I went to the shopping centre for the first time in months
6. I went to a party
7. The number of anxiety attacks I’ve had has decreased MASSIVELY
8. I’ve spoken to BOYS
9. I’ve lost a few friends
10. and gained some great ones – some being online –

• Kamil – Thank you for emailing me that night not too long ago – it was the start of something great😂
• Elm – Legit one of my fave bloggers here AND NOW WE TALKKK uifcibfhjb (sorry, I’m just super happy – hey dudee😂
•  Abby Marie – My introverted life – I LOVE your blog and I get excited everytime you post and I love seeing your comments on mine!! Your words of advice are awesome!

This blog has in a way changed my life. I was such a shy, awkward person and it’s safe to say for everyone that it’s clear I’ve come into my element.

Idk if it’s weird but I wouldn’t like to call today my anniversary. I mean, yeah, I posted my first post today but I feel like I was half faking. I would say that I truly started becoming myself and showing you guys the real me, no edits or cuts, was somewhere around September – when I told you guys my first kinda deep story time – check it out here if you wanna. It’s about Maya.

My life was so different back then and how far I’ve come now, with all of you guys to share it with makes me so happy. The fact that you time the time out of your day to read and comment and like and all of these little things just show that you care – even if it’s just the tiniest amount. And sometimes, all ANYONE needs in life is just to know that somebody’s there, and they are listening and most importantly – that they care.

Anyway, what I’m basically trying to say is a MASSIVE thank you for putting up with the goods, the bads, and just the teenage crappy moments of my life and here’s to many more years!
