100 Follower Special + New Layout and Name Reveal

 

Hey Guys!

You like my new layout? I know it’s nothing special but guys, this is a HUGE deal to me! When I say I was stressing out about this, I REALLY mean it. I just wanted to change it up from the plain Jane design I had before and give it a bit of colour! Also, I now have 100 people to please so I couldn’t let you all down!

Seriously 100 followers?! Guys it means so much! I know it’s corny, but I HONESTLY didn’t think anyone would read this, let alone like and comment. I made this blog just so I could rant and get things off my chest – I had no idea I’d find people who agree with me and go through the same things as me, so for that, I wanna thank you all!

Okay so before this turns into the lamest post ever, I’ve decided that in honour of 100 followers, I would do a get to know me tag because I’m guessing some of you don’t have time to weed through all of my posts and try to put together all the pieces. Lets get into it!

Get to Know Me Tag –

(Some questions have been removed because come on…I’m anonymous..have you been living under a rock?

1. What is your favourite colour?

Blue! I love blue. It works with everything and I will always love blue! –  moving on.

2. Cats or Dogs?

Well I don’t have any pets at the moment and if I had to pick one it would be neither and I would go for the teacup pig that’s in the corner. I guess if I absolutely had to pick between them, I would go for dogs.

3. Funniest moment throughout School?

Probably this one textiles lesson where we did absolutely no work and we all sat around this table listening to Lynn telling the story of her love life with this guy. The best part was when even our teacher started listening and whenever she had to get up and do something, she would tell her to stop the story and wait for her to come back, and she would hurry as fast as she would to get back – it was fucking hilarious.

4. How many countries have you visited?

2! I went to Dubai in the summer holiday and it’s kind of an annual thing for my family to go the France so I’ve been there at least 10 times.

5. What Sports do you play/Have you played?

I play Rugby, Football, and Basketball. Well I did…until my school discontinued the girls sports teams for them because not enough people were interested…even though we had enough for full teams…I know, weird right?

6. What is your favorite book?

Right now, it’s a toss up between am I normal yet? and the manifesto on how to be interesting (both by holly Bourne) Is it safe to say I love her? Her books are so thought provoking and I swear they are the only books I cry AND laugh at at the same time.

7. Who are some of your favorite YouTubers?

Right now, I’m still really into Kian and JC and around this time of year, I get kind of into Zoella because I’m pretty sure she does the best Vlogmas out there. I also LOVE this YouTuber called Stephanie Soo (Otherwise known as MissMangoButt – check her out and it will make more sense I promise.)

8.  What is your favorite movie?

Right now, my fave movie is what happened to Monday, but I’m ALSO gonna use this time to plug some bomb TV shows that I’m watching right now! Okay so right now, I’m really into Korean TV shows (Thanks a lot BTS) Anyway, so I’m also learning Korean right now (Again…thanks BTS – the k – pop world is really addictive guys).  Anyway, right now, I am watching a Kdrama called Uncontrollably Fond and it is SO FUCKING AMAZING. Like I’m only on episode 9 but I’m officially obsessed. It’s about this famous Korean actor with 3 months to live and try and pursue the girl he’s been obsessed with for 9 years. Such a good concept – go check it out!

9. How would you describe your fashion sense?

Umm…I feel like the only way I can describe it is Comfortable. I like wearing clothes that I know are too big because it makes me feel more comfortable. Also it’s more likely for me to get LESS attention from people so that’s why I like it.

10. Tell us one of your bad habits!

Umm…I bite my nails a lot ? I don’t know, I don’t have a lot of bad habits. I think my main one is my constant swearing but I’m working on it in time for New Years so we’ll see how that works out!

Okay so now that we’ve finished our tag, we’ll get onto the part you’ve all been waiting for!

Okay so I’m not gonna give you guys my REAL name, BUT I’m gonna give you one that you can use if you want to!

So when I made my first blogging friend, we made up random names for each other and her one for me was Alexa.

So why not? I’m Alexa! Or Alex for short – I like Alex. AND YES IT CAN BE USED AS A GIRLS NAME TOO (Teggs)

So yeah!, now I have a normal name. Don’t worry guys – the Awkward Expert won’t die – her alter ego Alex will just shine a little bit more!
