So I know that I had already started a life update series, but I felt like I was being a fake version of myself. Not totally fake, I mean everything was true, but I couldn’t really be 100% myself. Now I feel like I’m becoming a lot more comfortable with this blog and with myself, so I thought I would tell you guys what I was afraid to say in my other life updates.
Now guys, please remember that I m a 15 year old girl. And with that, comes lots of mood swings, craziness and me just being plain weird. It might just be me but… it’d be nice to know if any of you go through, or have already gone through this stage. I like to call it the…”complicated” stage.
Anyway, since this is a fresh start and a new beginning I thought I would give you guys some updated facts about me. I gave some old ones in my first ever blog post, but I feel like a lot of things have changed since then so let’s get into it!
A bit about me –
1- Now, since my last ‘about me’ I still really love sports. I would like to get back into football but my school kinda discontinued the girls team which is really annoying. I’m trying to get a lot better at basketball, so I chose it at school for PE – I’ll let you know how it goes.
2- I still LOVE music and my favourite artist at the moment and probably for the rest of my life is the Weeknd. I love him so much! Words can’t describe it. I know it sounds weird and I don’t even understand it myself, but there is just something about him that is amazing. If you haven’t listened to any of his music then…what are you doing here? Nah I’m just kidding, but you should definitely listen to some.
3- My favourite television sitcom now would have to be…actually I don’t think I have one. I don’t watch a lot of TV these days. But my favourite Netflix TV show would 100% have to be ‘Power’. This is VERY explicit and I wouldn’t recommend it for those under 15 (I’m just saying that because I’m 15, otherwise the age would be MUCH older). It’s basically about a guy named Ghost who is the leader of a drug chain and is having an affair with a cop who is trying to catch him, but she doesn’t know that it’s him. It’s freaking amazing but VERY mature so watch at your own risk. I’m only on season 2 but I am already hooked.
4- I also love YouTube and my favourite YouTubers now are ‘Kian n Jc’ – they are literally the funniest people ever, they make me laugh soo hard and ‘David Dobrik’ – he does vlogs and they are always 4min20secs long which is a kinda a joke (if you know, you know) and they are definitely my kind of humour, you guys should check out both channels because they are awesome!
5- I really really REALLY want a pet pig. Like so much. I already have my life planned out with one. It would stay in my room and I’d feed it and look after it. It would be a girl and I would call her Benji (I know it’s a boy name, but I feel like it would be so adorable). She would start off really small and then get bigger and we would grow together. It’s so sad that I won’t be able to get one any time soon, but at one point in life, I am 100% gonna have a pet pig. 100%.
6- My favourite hobbies are writing, drawing, photography and skateboarding. I just find that these are ways to free my mind in ways that aren’t too dramatic. If I’m sad, I draw, if I’m feeling inspired, I write, if I see something cool, I take a photo and if I just want to escape, I skateboard. It’s weird that I have different hobbies for different emotions but, I didn’t really plan it, it just kinda happened.
7- My biggest pet peeve is people being fake. Can’t stand it.
Annddd that’s all I could think of right now but I answer a lot more random questions here so go and check it out if you haven’t already.
Now I kind of want to give you guys a run down on what I will be doing in these life updates. So in these updates, I’ll be updating you guys on 5 categories;
1- Home life – This will be about my home situation, how I’m feeling and just how I’m handling everything that’s going on right now.
2 – Fitness life – In the summer holidays, I was very consistent with my fitness journey but now that school has started, I have been slacking a little. I feel like updating you guys will help me stay on track, so I’ll be letting you guys know how I’m getting on with that.
3 – School life – You guys know about my school situation, so I thought it would be nice to take you guys along with me as I go through one of the most important years of my life. I feel like it would make it better, knowing that I have you guys to turn to.
4 – Mental Health Life – This will be an update on my anxiety and depression. I’ll let you guys know how I’ve been doing in regards to that and maybe showing you some methods I use to overcome bad situations
5 – Social life – As you guys know, I’m an awkward little crab so I have a great issues with getting the courage to speak to new people. This will be an update on if I’m trying to come out of my comfort zone and meet new people and if I don’t then you guys have to shout at me in the comments!
So since this post is kinda long, I think I’ll start my first life update in another post but I hope you guys are excited like me for this new series! I think it will be a good thing for us because we all get to go on this journey together! I can’t wait to see what things are coming for all of us and if you wanna talk you know where to find me!
